How VA Community Care Dental Works

Confirm Eligibility with the VA
You must be enrolled or eligible for VA health care and receive authorization.

Request us as your provider
Ask your VA clinic to select Carabelli Dental as your preferred dental provider.

VA Referral & Authorization
Once the VA approves your referral, they’ll send an authorization to our office.
Local care, coordinated with the VA
What This Means for You
You may receive comprehensive dental care covered by the VA through a local provider. Your care is coordinated with the VA, and you’ll be seen at our practice once authorized. You don’t pay out of pocket for approved services.

Dr. Hien Nguyen completed her Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency in 2014 at the Orlando VA Medical Center and has dedicated over a decade to serving Veterans at both the Lake Baldwin and Lake Nona VA facilities. Today, she continues that commitment by providing dental care to Veterans through the VA Community Care Network (CCN).
With more than a decade of experience caring for Veterans, Dr. Nguyen understands the unique needs of Veterans and is committed to providing respectful, high-quality, and personalized dental care. As a local practice within the VA Community Care Network, Carabelli Dental makes it easier for Veterans to access the dental care they deserve—close to home, with convenient access and without the need for long waits or lengthy travel.
